Atlanta attracted serious engagement from apartment seekers during the third quarter, according to new data from RentCafe.
The real estate company analyzed user interactions, ranking U.S. metros based on how often apartment seekers searched for or favorited them. Atlanta placed No. 2 nationally, second only to Cincinnati, and ranked No. 1 among southern metros. Plus, Atlanta had the fourth most saved searches of any city in the country.
Notably, saved searches for Atlanta jumped 13% during the third quarter, with most of that interest coming from apartment seekers in New York, as well as nearby locales like Sandy Springs and Marietta.
“Apartment seekers in Atlanta are taking a more thoughtful approach to their searches,” said RentCafe analyst Florin Petrut. “Many are browsing more listings before saving favorites, showing that they’re weighing their options carefully. This steady, engaged activity helped Atlanta take second place this quarter, moving up two spots in the rankings.”
