What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?
A&R assistant at LaFace Records promoting artist on the label and listening to demo tapes.

Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Vicksburg, Mississippi.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
I pamper myself when I’m stressed. I love going to a local spa, hair salon or nail salon.

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
I would meet Patrick Kelly, a global fashion icon who is not with us anymore. He was from my hometown of Vicksburg.

What is Atlanta’s best-kept secret?
Free Sunday admission at High Museum of Art.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
I cater to all my clients through longterm growth for them and for me. I have sold real estate to several families starting with the parents, then their children and then their grandkids etc. I become part of the family.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Keeping up with AI. 

What’s your best advice for generating new leads?
I fully believe in networking. I also believe in meeting people where they are. They may not be ready to purchase or sell right now, but eventually they will be. Stay in touch with everyone in your database, and ask for new business from those people because they know you.

What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?
I am binge-watching Owning Manhattan on Netflix, reading Outwitting the Devil by Napoleon Hill and listening to the best of Sam Cook.

What’s your favorite meal in Atlanta?
Hawaiian Ribeye Steak from Houston’s with a traditional salad.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Atlanta?
Mercedes Benz Stadium — Go Falcons!

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?
Trying to get a real live bird out of a townhome I was showing that had high ceilings. It literally took about 2 hours!

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry?
Communication is key and never stop your education.

What’s your favorite real estate iPhone/Android app?
Calendly for easy appointment scheduling.

Who are your favorite people to follow on social media?
I love to follow people who surprise random people with money and experiences.
