I taught formal dance and also built custom/spec homes.
I grew up in Oconee County, a suburb of Athens, but a lot of my childhood memories are in North Carolina on the Hiwassee River.

I will typically escape to the gym or a yoga class, and if that doesn’t work, I will surround myself with friends and family.
I would have to say Abraham Lincoln. He was the first president who stood for basic human rights and was the emancipator of enslaved people. The fact he grew up in poverty and ultimately held the highest office in the country was always very impressive to me.
Atlanta is known for a ton of commercial attractions, but we often forget that Atlanta is one of the greenest metropolitan cities in the country. We have a ton of great hiking trails, waterfalls, parks, etc. One of my favorite places is the East Palisades Trail.
I love being able to help the people closest to me and their referrals find their dream homes and seeing the look on their faces when they find “the one.” Also, I love advising my clients, and oftentimes friends, on the best investment they will likely make in their lifetimes!
I grew up around all things real estate. My dad was a builder/developer growing up, and my uncle owned a real estate brokerage. So, at a very young age, I subconsciously was learning the industry. I have also managed multiple construction and development projects throughout the years, so my attention to detail, the quality build of a home, and my ability to use my knowledge to negotiate on my clients’ behalf set me apart from the crowd.
The most difficult thing for me is knowing when to take time off. I do my best to make each client feel like the only client, so it becomes difficult for me to take the time we all need for ourselves, but hey, I’m always a work in progress!
If you approach real estate with the genuine intention of helping others and share your knowledge openly, you will generate organically, and people will notice that.
I don’t watch a lot of TV, but the last show I binged was “Good Girls” on Netflix. Sooo good! I have grown to love “The Mindset Mentor” podcast and “On Purpose with Jay Shetty.” So much of what we do, say, react to starts with our mindset and how we talk to and treat ourselves. I rely on these podcasts.
First thing, I love food when I don’t have to cook it. I CANNOT cook. That said, Ecco in Midtown is one of my favorite spots, and the fried goat cheese balls are delish!
I actually have two favorites: 40 West 12th and J5 Midtown. They are both boutique residential communities that have an urban-luxury esthetic I live for!
I had a client who was a single mom and worked full time, and she said we could only see homes in the early morning or later in the evening. We were out looking at homes after dark and ran into squatters in a listed vacant home. We locked ourselves in the garage and called the police. Her daughter thought it was the coolest thing!
I used to dance and teach dance professionally in my younger years. I am also a licensed yoga instructor.
My favorite vacation spot would be in the North Georgia mountains at my family’s property on the Hiwassee River. Its a place I call home and somewhere I can go to decompress.
NYC hands down. While I would never want to live there, there is an energy that is palpable when you are there. There is just so much history and architecture, and the diversity is awesome!
Find a good mentor and brokerage that fits your vibe.
Realtor.com. The app is linked directly to the MLS we use as agents and updates faster than any other public app, so the information is more accurate.
The Mindset Mentor and Jay Shetty. The positivity and knowledge they have to share helps me through my days.
