Woodfield Development just opened Union Green, a 295-unit multifamily community in Union City.

With the opening, the Charleston, South Carolina-based developer now has five projects in Georgia with 1,494 apartments and a total investment of $390 million over the last five years.  Leasing at Union Green launched in September, and the community is now over 20% leased.

“We are thrilled to announce our first residential development in Union City, a community that strikes the perfect balance between suburban tranquility and urban accessibility,” Woodfield Partner Patrick Kassin said in a press release. “The leadership of Union City, under Mayor Vince Williams, has been exceptional at every level. With its prime location, strong connections to downtown Atlanta, a growing economy and proximity to the Atlanta Airport and headquarters for Porsche North America, Delta Air Lines and Chick-fil-A, Union City is an incredibly appealing market for investment.”

Located at 4980 Stonewall Tell Road southwest of downtown Atlanta, Union Green consists of 295 units across two four-story buildings.  The community offers a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments ranging from 741 to 1,573 square feet.

Amenities include a pool with sun lounge, club lounge, demonstration kitchen for events, outdoor social commons with grilling area, wellness and fitness studio and sky lounge with views of Downtown Atlanta.

CBG Building Company was the general contractor, Fifth Dimension Architecture and Interiors LLC was the architect of record, and Shelton Taylor + Associates handled interior design.
