Katiti Mwebe has been fascinated with the real estate industry since she was 18 years old, and after living in Atlanta for over 20 years and establishing herself as a trusted real estate advisor, her fascination has blossomed into a successful career.
The Phoenix Award recipient and lifetime member of the Atlanta Board of Realtors’ Multi-Million Dollar Sales Club says that her referral-based business method takes her all over Atlanta, where she has represented buyers and sellers within a very broad price range.
“An existing client that purchased a multi-million dollar home from me later referred his younger sister to me to purchase her first home for $250,000,” Mwebe remembers. “It was a short sale, and we encountered some challenges along the way, but when she mentioned the challenges to her brother, he said, ‘Don’t worry, Katiti will take care of it.’ We closed the transaction and she saved several thousand dollars. I’ll never forget he said that.”
Mwebe’s ability to work across such a large variety of clients and price points comes from her calm, respectful and professional demeanor, as well as her ability to meet and connect with people from many different walks of life.
“My father was an immigrant from Uganda, and, while a big part of my client base are locals, a lot of my clients are immigrants and international clients, as well,” she says. “Over the years, I’ve worked with people from Uganda, China, Bangledash, Burma, Tanzania, Kenya, India, Japan, Nigeria, Korea, Liberia – the list goes on. It’s rewarding to work with such a diverse clientele and assist them in pursuing a part of the American Dream.”
Mwebe is also a certified luxury home marketing specialist, and she has been recognized as a Million Dollar Guild Member by the Institute For Luxury Home Marketing.
