Dave Flashner is known for his highly personalized service and he would have it no other way. “My clients are not folders or files,” says the senior mortgage originator at Success Mortgage Partners and sergeant at the Atlanta Fire Department. “They have needs beyond just this financial transaction and it’s my job to find out what those needs are and manage the sometimes confusing and tedious mortgage process.”
“I am in the customer service industry, I just happen to write loans,” he continues. “We try and make the experience from the day we meet through the close date as seamless and painless as possible.”
As a Georgia mortgage consultant with six years of experience in the real estate industry, Flashner and his team of three serve clients regardless of their financial needs, taking the time to educate them about the process through a Mortgage 101 class. “This gives me an opportunity to get to know my clients on a personal level, whether they are financially ready now or within a few years,” he says, adding that his primary task is finding a personalized game plan for each client.
For three consecutive years, Flashner has been ranked among the Top 10 in sales company-wide while being part of the No. 1 branch throughout Success Mortgage Partners. He is also a member of the Atlanta Rescue Fire Station 16, which was rated the city’s 2017 Fire Station of the Year.
Flashner is an active volunteer with the organization Building Your Legacy which helps mentor fatherless children. He also dedicates himself fully to his two most important roles: father and husband. “We love to cook together and on Sundays, you can always find us stretching dough for pizza and crushing tomatoes for our sauce,” he says. “There is nothing better than family time.”
Whether he’s working in the firehouse or at the office, Flashner’s goals remain the same. “At the end of the day, I love helping people,” he says. “I get to put smiles on faces every day. It’s why I do what I do and I love every day of it. I can’t wait until tomorrow.”
