Allan Minter sold his first home just weeks after getting licensed. That was seventeen years ago. From that point on, he knew real estate would be a fulfilling career. “The excitement and thrill of the contract negotiation, helping out a recent divorcee start a new chapter in her life, and of course the closing was a feeling I’ll never forget. I was hooked.”
Each year, Minter sets a sales volume goal of $10 million and he’s surpassed that goal every year since 2010. A member of the Atlanta Board of Realtors, the Georgia Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors, he’s maintained a code of ethics in his business that hasn’t gone unnoticed amongst his peers. In reviews, clients commend him for being easy to work with, caring, accessible and authentic. Besides framed pictures of his wife and daughter, his desk wouldn’t be complete without the personal handwritten thank you cards from his clients. This is what makes his clock tick.
Minter was awarded the Phoenix Award from the Atlanta Board of Realtors in 2012 for 10 consecutive years of Million Dollar Club achievement. Another meaningful honor was the Companywide Humanitarian award he earned in 2008 for his foster and rescue efforts with the Atlanta Dog Squad.
Trekking, climbing and making the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro on Oct. 1, 2018, is his proudest personal accomplishment this year. Reaching Stella Point, the point right before the summit, with its most breathtaking and majestic views, seemed serendipitous to him – his daughter’s name is Stella. Since he’s come back from Africa, Stella has taken a keen interest in climbing and she seems to have a natural talent for it. Her first time climbing at Atlanta Rocks, Minter says she reached the top and came back down as if she’s done it a hundred times.
Besides hiking and climbing, Minter also enjoys running, live music, art, reading, playing records and photography. He enjoys spending any downtime he has with his family. His wife Ana travels often on business, so their time together is more sacred. Minter is always on the hunt for creating the best memories and moments for his family.
