With 30 years of experience in processing, closing, servicing, underwriting and operations management, Angie Gora is well-prepared for her role as branch manager and VP of mortgage lending for Guaranteed Rate’s Suwanee branch. She and her team of experienced loan officers work together to support their clients and help people make their dream of owning a home a reality.

Gora’s hands-on approach means she’s involved in the loan process from beginning to end. To her loyal clients, she’s known as a friendly and efficient lender who always responds quickly and meets her deadlines. Behind the scenes, Guaranteed Rate is also equipped with a system that allows her to underwrite borrowers before they even put in an offer, helping to close loans quickly and remove any uncertainty for her clients.

Gora says her success can be partially attributed to her unique ability to connect with customers on a personal level, including learning about their goals and plans. “I’m attentive to the social codes, I listen and I ask lots of questions,” she says. “It allows me to get to know them better. Everyone has a different communication style, so I try to adapt to the customer’s style, so they feel comfortable.”

When not working, Gora’s philanthropic efforts include involvement in local middle and high schools, volunteering as a finance instructor. She also serves as a mentor, coach and judge for the Distributive Education Clubs of America, an organization that prepares students for success in finance, hospitality and management careers. Gora is a board member for North Gwinnett Schools Foundation which provides financial grants to enrich and extend educational opportunities for students in the North Gwinnett school cluster.
