Mark Kozik & Curtis Russell, Co-Owners and Brokers

GreatHomesATL

Empowering their clients to make decisions with confidence, Mark Kozik and Curtis Russell treat everyone like family, setting them up for success through education and honesty. “Our brand’s entire foundation is built on the tagline, ‘Welcome to the Family,’” Kozik and Russell, the co-owners and brokers of GreatHomesATL, explain.

Serving the entire Atlanta metro area, Kozik and Russell, who are married and have a daughter and two dogs, welcome any potential buyer who’s ready and able to commit to the process. “We understand that everyone has taken a different path to owning a home,” they say, adding that through easily accessible resources like free consultations, YouTube segments like “Cocktails with Curt,” virtual property tours and social media posts, they’re able to reach clients outside of the traditional local luxury Atlanta market.

With over two decades of real estate experience combined, Kozik and Russell came to the industry after successful careers in corporate America. “We’ve always gotten satisfaction by helping people and we both find it rewarding to be someone’s source of truth,” they say. A former manager of standards and practices, Kozik turned to real estate after being laid off in 2014. Russell, a former project manager, soon followed, motivated by his own negative home buying experience.

With the help of Realtors Hope Shivers and Valerie Jones, as well as their network of trustworthy referrals and agent affiliates, Kozik and Russell provide a smooth, memorable, and positive homebuying experience. In a competitive market, they remain authentic on and off Instagram, broadcasting to more than 100,000 organic followers across platforms.

Last year, they purchased the first GreatHomesATL House to provide short-term housing for clients who are visiting the Atlanta area. Booked months in advance, the property signals the start of new endeavors for the couple as they look to expand into relocation, new construction and the short-term rental markets.
