Rony Ghelerter, Realtor

Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty

Dedicated to helping clients sell their homes or locate the house of their dreams, Rony Ghelerter has built a following in the past 20-plus years based on repeat and referral customers.

Ghelerter, a Realtor with Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty, builds relationships with clients that last beyond the closing table. “I hear it often; I am not just their Realtor but part of the family, a friend for life.”

An award-winning Realtor, she generated more than $30 million in sales last year—a 50% increase in volume and an all-time career high. Besides surpassing her own sales record, she also sold more homes than any agent in Avalon, a mixed-use community in North Atlanta.

Clients admire her work ethic, integrity, customer care and the knowledge she provides them on current market conditions.

“I feel it is my responsibility to share the good, bad and ugly about a property, which sometimes means we’re going to be looking at a few more properties before we find ‘the one,’” explains Ghelerter. Determined to always try her best, she works hard to minimize stress, maximize results and stay positive despite any setbacks.

Ghelerter specializes in the luxury market, new construction and resale in Avalon, Alpharetta, Canton, Cumming, Milton and Roswell. She has lived in the Alpharetta-Milton area for the past 11 years, having relocated from Northern Virginia.

After all these years, it’s hard to believe she had another career. But Ghelerter was director of a national executive search firm when 9/11 caused her to rethink her purpose in life. “I grew up in a family of four generations of residential and commercial contractors,” she says. “I had been in the building business my entire life and always loved it.”

Soon after contacting a premier custom contractor, she was hired, exceeded $11 million in sales her first year and never looked back.
