Amy Pedersen, Real Estate Agent & Team Lead

Purpose Driven Real Estate Group, Compass

With a graduate degree in marketing from Georgia State University and an undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of Georgia, Amy Pedersen turned her creative passion for transforming spaces into a purpose-driven career after years of investing, renovating and managing properties.

Following a successful corporate career as a marketing consultant for Fortune 100 firms such as the Coca-Cola Company, Pedersen transitioned to a full-time career in real estate in 2016, applying her strategic insights as a seasoned marketer and skilled negotiator. An investor since 2012, she founded the Purpose Driven Real Estate Group, which has been affiliated with Compass Atlanta since 2021.

Pedersen specializes in guiding clients through their “season of change” throughout North Fulton, Cobb and Cherokee counties. Whether her clients are buying their first home, rightsizing as their lives evolve, refining investment strategies or navigating the nuances of the luxury market, she blends data-driven strategy, creative marketing and heartfelt advocacy into her work. She always delivers exceptional results for clients at every price point and stage of life.

Pedersen has been named a top producer multiple times with Compass, the Atlanta Realtors Association and the Cobb Association of Realtors. She has also been featured in Atlanta Magazine’s Real Estate All-Stars and Top Agent Magazine. She holds the Certified Residential Specialist and Certified Real Estate Negotiator designations — credentials that fewer than 3% of licensed Realtors have earned nationwide.

Pedersen also founded Flip It Forward, a philanthropic initiative that donates 100% of net profits from select home flips to local nonprofits. Her husband, Jon Pedersen, oversees day-to-day operations on the investor side of the business. Together, the couple has renovated and managed numerous properties across metro Atlanta.
