A longtime resident of Atlanta and a true team player, Tara Widener is well-respected throughout the real estate community. “I represent my clients to the best of my ability,” she shares. “At the end of the day, my goal is for both sides to walk away satisfied with the overall transaction.”

In 2015, Widener co-founded Go 2 Girls, an organizing and personal assistant company. Now a Realtor with Beacham & Company Realtors, she represents luxury clients throughout Buckhead, Sandy Springs, Vinings, Historic Brookhaven, Tucker, Kennesaw, Marietta, Lake Lanier, Acworth, Inman Park, the Westside and Midtown. “Growing up with a parent in civil service, we moved often,” she explains. “I moved over 10 times as a child, which gave me the ability to quickly get to know different people and towns.”

This past year, Widener was ranked as the No. 4 agent company-wide. RealTrends ranked her among the top agents in the United States, while the Atlanta Board of Realtors recognized her as a top producer in 2025 and among the top 5% of Realtors for volume from 2020 to 2024.

The recipient of Modern Luxury Magazine‘s People’s Choice Award in 2024, Widener was named Rookie of the Year in 2021 by Beacham & Company Realtors. The gala chair for the organization’s housewarming celebration this year, she previously chaired the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Hope and Will Ball in 2012 as well as the Atlanta Zoo Beastly Feast in 2015. She currently serves on the Ronald McDonald House Board of Directors in Atlanta and is a chapter advisor for Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority at the University of Alabama.

Outside of real estate, Widener enjoys spending time with family, becoming a grandmother for the first time this year. Her hobbies include playing mahjong and pickleball, as well as reading and traveling.
