What was your first job in the realty industry? I was a Realtor.

Where did you grow up? I grew up on the South Side of Atlanta. I was raised in College Park, and then we moved to Riverdale, GA.

Growing up, what did you want to be? As a child, I wanted to be a doctor.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Meditate

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Hank McCamish. He built a $1.8 billion empire in five years. I would like to know his schedule and marketing strategy.

Where is your favorite place to hang out? The tennis court

What do you love most about the industry? My colleagues. I love working around such positive people.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I don’t sell. I like to educate my clients on the buying and selling process.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Scheduling

Where do you go to network and meet new clients? I am the co-chair of the Young Professionals Network at my Board of Realtors, so I get to network with different vendors that service our areas.

What has been your greatest accomplishment? My kids!

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? “The Power of Positive Thinking” by Norman Vincent Peale

What is your favorite restaurant? 6 Feet Under

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Atlanta? The Westin

What kind of car do you drive? A CLK320 Convertible

Smartphone or paper? A little of both. I take my notes on paper. I keep that ol’ school, but I keep my calendar on my smartphone.

What is your favorite city after Atlanta? NYC, for the food and public transportation. I love not having to drive for a couple of days.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry? “Work, Work, Work” spoken in my Rihanna voice.
But on a serious note: Go and find a superstar agent within your company and shadow them for about a month. That superstar agent will lead you in the right direction. They will instill a good work ethic in you also.
