Cynthia Baer believes that the value of a property is found in its surrounding community and that finding the right neighborhood for you can make all the difference. “Your community is where you truly live,” she says. “It’s the neighbors you meet, the things you do, the kids your children grow up with and may know for the rest of their lives.”

As a Broker Associate with Keller Williams Realty – Metro Atlanta, Baer specializes in the Intown and Decatur markets, using her rich understanding of the neighborhoods and school districts to guide buyers towards their perfect homes. Whether they are first-time home buyers eager to settle down in a place of their own, looking to move from a smaller home into one more suitable for a family, or ready to right size to a smaller home after the kids move out, Baer gives each client her all.

“I’m very involved in the listing process,” she says. “I do everything in my power to make sure their home looks amazing. I listen to their needs and work hard to deliver on what is important to them.”

Buyers are also impressed with the level of dedication Baer puts into finding them the right property – not only providing knowledge about the house itself, but helping to connect people to the community they want to be in.

When Baer joined the real estate industry nine years ago after specializing in sales and marketing, she combined an old passion with a modern skill set. “Growing up, I loved looking at houses as we moved a lot,” she says. “I thought it was fun to guess the price differences in each area and loved seeing how homes and communities were different.”

During her first year as an agent, Baer received the Rookie of the Year award from the DeKalb Board and has since gone on to earn their Lifetime Pinnacle Award. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors and the Dekalb Board of Realtors. In her spare time, she plays in a ukulele band, works as an active volunteer within her local school, supports Intown Collaborative Ministries and serves on the boards of her church and neighborhood preschool.
