Agent Snapshot: Angelo Mirville, Agent, Buy N Sell Realty

Name: Angelo Mirville

Job Title: Agent

Company: Buy N Sell Realty

What was your first job in the realty industry? Although I started and found tremendous success in real estate investing, becoming an agent was my first job in the industry.

Where did you grow up? I grew up in Locust Grove, a little town south of the city of Atlanta

Growing up, what did you want to be? I grew up wanting to be a CEO of a company. By the age of 20, I had purchased my first home and fell in love with the real estate industry.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Stress definitely comes in this career, and when it does I turn to yoga and meditation. My office space has elements of zen and meditation that keeps that good positive energy flowing. Fortunately for us, Atlanta offers a myriad of green space throughout the city, so I love to take advantage of the parks to relieve stress when I can get away.

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? I would love to have lunch with Oprah Winfrey. Her story and life embodies the secret to harness every possibility thats in all of us. I know that Oprah would share her insight into how she was able to harness every possibility within her and make them a reality.

Where is your favorite place to hang out? On a sunny day, you will find me hanging out in Piedmont Park or the Ponce City Market enjoying my favorite noodle dish.

What do you love most about the industry? I love having the chance to engage the community in a real way that even this new wave of social media can’t offer. There is absolutely nothing else like building rapport with individuals, families and businesses and doing it in what I believe to be the most rewarding industry on earth.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? Being 23 years old, I have often been identified as a leader in the millennial generation. I believe my age and my multicultural background distinguishes me from the crowd.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Balance would be the most difficult aspect of operating my real estate agent business. However, implementing that yoga practice into my personal life has helped me with keeping balance and flow.

Where do you go to network and meet new clients? I attend a monthly real estate investing meeting where I like to network with other expert and newbie investors. Outside of the real estate space I do like to connect at local churches and colleges.

What has been your greatest accomplishment? My greatest accomplishment has been writing and publishing my first book entitled “Own It in Your 20’s: A Guide to Homeownership for the Millennial.” The heart of the book is really to get as many millennials to into the real estate space as possible and I am very proud of that message.

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? The last good movie I saw was “A Wrinkle In Time” and of course Oprah Winfrey was in it.

What is your favorite restaurant? My favorite food would be Italian food, making my favorite restaurant Olive Garden.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Atlanta? Right now I am really intrigued by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s home he grew up in. That historic feel never gets old, it is timeless.

What kind of car do you drive? I drive a cute little Toyota Corolla. It is so good on gas might I add.

Smartphone or paper? Paper Paper Paper

What is your favorite city after Atlanta? Washington DC. I love all of the museums, monuments, and history.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry? Absolutely never stop seeking an oppurtunity to acquire more Knowledge.

What’s your favorite real estate iPhone/Android app? Definitely Zillow

Who are your favorite people to follow on Twitter? Although I am not really a Twitter user, I do know that I am following Oprah and Kim Kardashian.
