What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
I work out at Pure Barre, ride my peloton and, honestly, I go walk new home models. HAHA. I know silly but walking new homes is like smelling fresh baked cookies for me … it relaxes me and inspires me at the same time.
If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Martin Luther King Jr. I would want to have a long talk with him about his thoughts on the world today, the social issues we are facing and get his insight on what he really meant when he “dreamed his dream.”
What is Atlanta’s best-kept secret? The chef at Bentwater Country Club is AMAZING!!!!!!
What do you love most about the industry? I am passionate about finding the one. I love seeing the look in my buyers’ eyes when I find the one that checks most if not all of the boxes. I truly can’t express how amazing it feels to hand over the keys and see the heart glow through them!
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I have a saying, “KEEP SMILING.” I use it in all my social media and on my “CHATS with MCAT” sign off. I smile a lot. Sometimes its hard to smile, especially these days, but I like to share a smile … it truly is the best thing I can wear and shows my personality!
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Juggling family life with my job. I am a go-getter, I GO BIG! I tend to just dive in, and then I don’t know how to stop. I want to have more buyers, more sellers and making sure I make time for me and my family is difficult at times!
What’s your best advice for generating new leads? SOCIAL MEDIA! Establish yourself a true and authentic brand on social media. I am a huge believer that you are your brand. Sometimes when we post we give up because it doesn’t seem to be helping but it takes time. Keep posting, keep staying top of mind and the business will come!
What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately? I switch it but currently I am obsessed with some Lifetime movies. HAHA. I know it seems cheesy, but there is something about a predictable psycho-filled movie that I need after a long day of real estate!
What’s your favorite meal in Atlanta? Anything with cheese dip and guac.
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Atlanta? The Falcons Stadium. I love the way it looks from the street, the air and inside!
What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job? I had a showing and walking in on a couple having some private time on the couch…EEK!
What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you? That was won several national awards for singing opera!
What is your favorite vacation spot and why? St. Simon Island, GA. I have fallen in love with the little island. The history and trees and riding my bike everywhere with my beats on … is zen.
What is your favorite city after Atlanta? Washington, DC. I love the history there and the museums.
