What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?

I have been in real estate for 18 years. There is nothing more interesting. I also worked in advertising and various other sales positions.

Where did you grow up?

Detroit

Growing up, what did you want to be?

I knew early on I would choose a career where I could use my voice to help others, and I am achieving that.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?

Drink a glass of wine, sit outdoors and absorb nature.

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?

Maya Angelou — I love her sense of wisdom and poetic style.

What is Atlanta’s best-kept secret?

I’m hoping someone will tell me! I’m eager to try it out.

What do you love most about the industry?

Helping families achieve the American dream of home ownership.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?

I am quickly responsive, I listen, and I am available from start to finish with anything that may arise during the buying or selling process.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?

Having to break tough news to a client, or seeing a client disappointed.

What’s your best advice for generating new leads?

Advertise!!!

What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?

I wish I had the luxury. However, when I do, I plan to binge-watch Queen Sugar on OWN Network.

What’s your favorite meal in Atlanta?

I love Lebanese, Middle Eastern and Greek foods! YUM!

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Atlanta?

I always pay special attention when I drive by the King & Queen buildings in Perimeter.

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?

There was a language gap with the client, and we completed the entire process with Google Translate.

What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you?

I am the youngest of nine girls and two boys! Big family!

What is your favorite vacation spot and why?

I don’t have a favorite, as the world is too big. I prefer ocean settings and all-inclusive with butler service.

What is your favorite city after Atlanta?

New York

Calm down and soar. Enjoy the process.
