One of the many luxury apartment high-rises going up in Midtown Atlanta has come a step closer to completion, with the topping out of the 18-story Mira complex.

The 355-unit building is a key element of the Midtown Union mixed-use development, which will also include a 26-story, 612,000-square-foot class A office tower that will be home to Invesco’s new headquarters, a 23-key Kimpton hotel and 32,000-square-feet of street-level retail.

MetLife Investment Management is partnering on Mira with multifamily developer StreetLights Residential. The asset manager is also partnering with Granite Properties on Midtown Union’s office component and with AMS Hospitality on its lodging piece, according to a press release.

Mira residences include studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans ranging from 496 square feet to 1,731 square feet. Amenities include concierge services, a coffee bar, a resident bar and lounge, conference and co-working spaces, a pet spa and an outdoor amenity deck with a pool, seating and grilling stations.

“Reaching the tower top-out on schedule is a huge milestone, and we look forward to opening this great project next year and welcoming residents,” said Rob DeBruin, StreetLights’ president of construction. “Atlanta, especially Midtown, has seen exponential development in the last few years, and we’re thrilled to work with MetLife Investment Management to offer a luxury product for the growing community.”
