Yet another residential tower is in the works for Midtown Atlanta.

Atlanta-based developer JPX Works plans to raise a 31-story building at 1405 Spring St., according to a proposal presented to the Midtown Development Review Committee.

The building, which is located at the corner of Spring and 18th streets, will offer 325 units and encompass 300,400 square feet, according to the DRC. It will also include a nine-story parking podium with access coming from 18th Street, as well as ground-floor leasing.

According to the proposal, which was presented to the committee by RJTR architects, two-way traffic flow on 18th Street will be extended east.

After the presentation, the committee issued several recommendations to the developer, including considering burying local overhead utilities to improve the streetscape. The DRC expects to receive updated plans incorporating its recommendations as the next step in the review process.
