Kolter Homes hires former Serenbe, Newland exec to lead Cresswind development

by John Yellig

Kolter Homes hired former Serenbe Development Vice President and General Manager Jennifer Landers to serve as community director at its active-adult development in Hoschton.

In her new role at the master-planned community, Cresswind Georgia at Twin Lakes, Landers will oversee the community’s development, sales and homebuilding as vice president and general manager.

Landers has 22 years of experience in residential real estate and has honed a variety of skills, including coaching, marketing, operations and new home sales, Kolter said in a press release. She has worked with a variety of product types and price points.

“Jennifer is the perfect addition to our team,” Kolter Regional Vice President Tony Adams said. “Her expertise with the operations of master-planned communities made her an asset on day one!”

Besides her work at Serenbe Development, Landers is probably best known for her 17 years with master-planned communities developer Newland, where she started as marketing manager, was promoted to regional marketing director and then served as vice president of operations.

Landers was honored by the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association as the 2021 Council Chairman of the Year and the 2009 Marketing Director of the Year.

She currently serves as the 2022 chairman of the National Association of Home Builders 55+ Board of Trustees and serves on the Greater Atlanta HBA board, as well as the board of the Greater Atlanta 55+ Housing Council.

Located within the master-planned Twin Lakes development, Cresswind Georgia serves as the neighborhood’s active adult component with 1,300 low-maintenance, single-family homes, priced from the $270,000s to $400,000s.
