What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?

Before moving to the U.S., I was a civil engineer for the International German Railway, specializing in improving railway systems all over the world.

Growing up, what did you want to be?

As a child, I fantasized about being a celebrity.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?

Lifetime Fitness dance classes

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?

Antoni Gaudi. His architectural portfolio was influenced by his passions in life: Architecture, nature and religion. He considered every detail of his creations and integrated those details into his architecture like crafts, ceramics, stained glass, wrought-ironwork forging and carpentry.

What is Atlanta’s best-kept secret?

Its Hollywood influence. There are numerous community theaters that will take you in, not to mention the up-and-coming film community that is dubbing Atlanta as the Hollywood of the South.

What do you love most about the industry?

I love that I am able to meet and interact with so many different people in each and every transaction.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?

I am multilingual, and I have gained a large amount of my real estate experience from relocating from continent to continent.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?

I don’t find that there are difficult aspects of my job. Real estate provides new and wonderful opportunities everyday to help people achieve their dreams of homeownership.

What’s your best advice for generating new leads?

Seek networking opportunities and join social networks.

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?

I have had houses left in beyond disgusting condition on more than one occasion.

What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you?

I have four beautiful children. I left Germany and traveled around the world, and I lived in India for four years.

What is your favorite vacation spot and why?

I enjoy going to the beach in my spare time. Ibiza is the perfect vacation spot! The landscaping, nightlife and hundreds of yachts on the Mediterranean are breathtaking!

What is your favorite city after Atlanta?

Johns Creek

Do not give up, and don’t be a secret agent!
