Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties promoted Senior Vice President and Regional Manager DeAnn Golden to president and CEO. 

Golden replaces Dan Forsman, who was made chairman after helming the brokerage for almost 40 years. 

Golden is a 26-year industry veteran and served as president of the Atlanta REALTORS® Association in 2019. She holds an MBA in real estate, marketing and strategic management from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. 

“For me, real estate is focusing on the transactional and relational,” Golden said in a press release. “It’s exciting to serve my forever family as president and CEO, working alongside our incredible leadership team, managing brokers and dedicated staff. We are committed to supporting our sales associates, teams, brokers and support staff in making a positive difference in all the communities we serve, for everyone.”
