Automotive and motorsport marketing

Born in Atlanta, grew up in Marietta.

Country music singer

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?

Enjoy a drink with my wife while sitting on our deck at our home in Jasper, looking across the North Georgia mountains.

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?

Elvis Presley; he seemed like a cool dude.

What is Atlanta’s best-kept secret?

Roaring Social in Alpharetta.

What do you love most about the industry?

Each day brings something new. The fast pace, endless possibilities.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?

Be authentic. Build the relationship first, and never B.S. a client.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?

Dealing with part-time agents who have no idea how to do business.

What’s your best advice for generating new leads?

Have a strong network that know to think of you when they need to buy or sell real estate and always ask for referrals.

What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?

I’m rewatching Yellowstone in anticipation of the new season in November. I’m listening to Cheplak Live real estate podcast.

What’s your favorite meal in Atlanta?

Sushi

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Atlanta?

There are so many, especially when I start thinking about what Portman has designed over the years, but I’d have to say that the King and Queen buildings are close to the top of my list.

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?

I was bitten by a spider on my neck and had to go to the hospital.

What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you?

That I’m an Atlanta native because I do not have a Southern accent.

What is your favorite vacation spot and why?

Love the beach because the ocean is very calming to me.

What is your favorite city after Atlanta?

Los Angeles

Find a great mentor (or two); put in the work.
