With eye on the Mountain West, Atlanta’s RangeWater hires senior managing director

Atlanta-based multifamily investor and developer RangeWater Real Estate hired industry veteran Andrew McIntyre as senior managing director of development. 

In his new role, McIntyre will manage RangeWater’s expansion into new Mountain West markets with an initial focus on Denver, Phoenix and Salt Lake City. He will also work maintain the company’s existing operations in the Southeast and Southwest.  

Before RangeWater, McIntyre spent 20 years in the Washington, D.C., market overseeing projects at Combined Properties Inc., Penzance, JBG Smith and PN Hoffman, which is now Hoffman & Associates.  

“RangeWater has an impressive track record and continues to lead the market,” McIntyre said in a press release. “I’m eager to focus my residential expertise on increasing the volume of development deals we’re able to execute in submarkets where RangeWater currently has a presence, as well as new submarkets across the country.”  

McIntyre received a bachelor’s degree in building construction from Georgia Tech and a master of business administration degree from Johns Hopkins University.
