Annual OBIE Awards honor Atlanta homebuilding community

The results are in. Members of the Atlanta homebuilding community were wined and dined at the 42nd annual OBIE Awards Gala Saturday night at the Georgia Aquarium.  

The awards from the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association cover all aspects of the building process, from best master-planned community to best online ad. To see the complete list, click here. 

The winners of the 2022 Communities of the Year include Ashton Woods, which won best attached-home community for Reverie on Cumberland in Vinings.

The Providence Group, meanwhile, took top prize in the detached community category for Idylwilde in Canton.

The Providence Group also won the mixed-use category for The Maxwell in Alpharetta.

Artisan Built Communities’ Naturewalk at Seven Hills development won the master-planned category for the second year in a row.

For developments aimed at the 55-plus demographic, Windsong Properties’ Marlowe community in Woodstock took the top honor.

Finally, McKinney Builders won the 20-units-or-less category for the Village at Williams Park in Smyrna.
