What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?

Creative marketing director at Home Depot

Where did you grow up?

The Bronx, N.Y.

Growing up, what did you want to be?

A librarian. I was a great lover of books. In high school, I wanted to be a broadcast journalist.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?

Massage. Hot stone. Lots of pressure.

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?

Bethany Frankel for her assertive approach to business and success and the fact that she’s happy to share her story with the world.

What is Atlanta’s best-kept secret?

A stroll at the Swan House in Buckhead. The late-night menu at Marcel. The rooftop views of the city at my townhome. The MODA museum.

What do you love most about the industry?

The varied nature of the people that I work with. The diverse nature of my clientele.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?

By providing a level of service quality and responsiveness that I seek in my own personal experiences. I strive to provide that concierge level of service in all of my business endeavors.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?

Managing unrealistic expectations.

What’s your best advice for generating new leads?

Out of the box thinking to attract the audience that you’re looking for. Really identify who your ideal client is by personality type.

What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?

I’m reading Play Bigger, and it’s about carving out a niche for yourself in your industry. I’m listening to Ninja Selling podcast. I binge-watch Luxe Listing Sydney on Prime Video.

What’s your favorite meal in Atlanta?

The chicken barg at Rumi’s is to die for.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Atlanta?

The Bank of America building in Midtown.

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?

A buyer of one of my seller’s properties doctored a text message allegedly from me saying that it was OK to park her moving truck and cars on the property a few days before closing. It turns out the buyer was a serial squatter. We had to give public notice to remove her belongings from the house that she didn’t yet own.

What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you?

That I like a hot fast car.

What is your favorite vacation spot and why?

Florence, Italy, because it has food, fashion and art. All of the people there look and live the part.

What is your favorite city after Atlanta?

San Diego because of its unassuming peaceful vibe.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry?

It’s all about the long game.

What’s your favorite real estate iPhone/Android app?

The Forewarn app for someone meeting clients they’ve never met before. It’s a good way to vet someone out.

Jesse Itzler, Mel Robbins and Lewis Howes.
