Fischer Homes has begun work on Laurel Farms, a low-maintenance, 55-plus community in Dallas, with the first sales slated for late summer.

The $25 million, 50-home development is situated on 15.39 acres on the corner of Hay Renfroe Drive and Villa Rica Highway in Paulding County. Grand Communities LLC is developing the project in one phase with an anticipated two-year build-out.

Since it opened in 2021, Fischer Homes has sold more than 85 homes at its Poplar Place active-adult community in Dallas. 

The Patio Home Collection at Laurel Farms features ranch-style homes with flexible floorplans and open-concept options. The community will feature an amenity center with a community clubhouse, outdoor gathering spaces and bocce ball courts.
