Growing up, what did you want to be?
I honestly never knew as a kid. I was already trying to take care of myself and my sisters.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
Work out or ride my horse.
If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
Dolly Parton. I feel like she is such a wise and Christian woman. She seems to always stay humble.
What is Atlanta’s best-kept secret?
The culture and diversity.
What do you love most about the industry?
I love seeing families who never thought they could become homeowners make that happen. I love to educate first-time home buyers.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
I treat every client as I would my own family. It’s not just a “transaction” to me, it’s the beginning of a lifelong relationship. I stay very connected to my past clients. I like to do pop-by gifts on holidays, host picture events with Santa, do fall festivals, etc.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Managing a team while putting in the work to raise two boys and be a present wife.
What’s your best advice for generating new leads?
Get involved with your community through activities like church, school and kids’ sports. Ensure you have a good social media presence that brings buyers and sellers value.
What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?
I love podcasts about anything pertaining to real estate or self-improvement.

The King and Queen buildings
What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?
I have many of them, but once I went to a scheduled listing appointment, and the guy opened the door to a rave party.
What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you?
I am actually a really shy person and introverted.
What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
We love the Destin 30A area. We buy investment homes there. It’s always been our favorite place to get away, and it’s easy drive.
