by Emily Marek

The National Association of REALTORS® announced its 2024 Leadership Academy class roster, which features several Georgia agents. The year-long program prepares volunteers at the state and local levels for future leadership positions with NAR.

“The Leadership Academy serves as an invaluable platform, nurturing our emerging leaders and equipping them to shape the ever-evolving terrain of American real estate,” said 2024 NAR President Tracy Kasper. “The diverse backgrounds and perspectives of this year’s Leadership Academy class are a testament to NAR’s commitment to inclusive growth, representation and professional development. This class is poised to bring about meaningful change at the local, state and national levels.”

Two Georgia Realtors were selected as part of the 2024 roster: Christopher Matos-Rogers, a 2024 Atlanta REALTORS® Association vice president, 2021 President of The LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance’s Atlanta chapter, associate broker at Coldwell Banker and founder of the Matos-Rogers Group, and Kate Wright, Georgia Association of REALTORS® YPN vice chair, Atlanta REALTORS® RPAC chair, associate broker at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Metro Brokers and founder of Living Wright Realty Group.

Applications for the 2024 Leadership Academy class will open in December and run through February 2024.
