Compass Georgia brought on Bill Murray, senior vice president and managing broker of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties’ Buckhead office, as managing broker and head of agent development for Georgia.  

The industry veteran’s official move comes on the heels of BHHS Georgia Properties’ Sept. 1 announcement that it appointed Lori Lane as interim managing broker of its Buckhead operations. In his new role, Murray will be based out of the Compass Buckhead office and work to mentor agents and sales managers to support the company’s growth, Compass said in a press release. 

Murray has been on the board of directors of the Atlanta Association of REALTORS® since 2014 and served as the association’s president in 2018.
