Trilogy Investment Company hires VP of asset management

by John Yellig

Atlanta-based build-to-rent developer Trilogy Investment Company hired multifamily veteran Jeff Kushner as vice president of asset management as it pursues strategic growth in the BTR sector.

In his new role, Kushner will oversee Trilogy’s national BTR asset-management platform, working with the firm’s investor relations, capital markets, acquisitions and construction teams to shepherd projects from acquisition to leasing and stabilization.

In a career spanning more than 20 years, Kushner has overseen the operations of over 14,000 scattered site properties worth more than $3.5 billion. He has also worked with multiple REITs, private equity groups, capital markets and institutional investors, and as vice president of real estate for FirstService, he managed over 9,000 single-family rental assets in nine states valued at more than $1.8 billion, Trilogy said.

“Jeff’s deep understanding of asset management and the BTR market is going to be a huge advantage to the Trilogy team,” Trilogy Managing Partner and CEO Jason Joseph said. “As we continue to navigate this dynamic market, it is imperative we deepen our bench of the best and brightest to continue to serve our investment partners, lenders and property management teams.”

An Atlanta native, Kushner holds a Georgia real estate broker’s license.
