The Providence Group recently broke ground on its third St. Jude Dream Home giveaway in Atlanta.
The home will be located in Providence’s newest neighborhood, Palisades at Sawnee Village, a mixed-use development on 152 acres in Cumming. At full build-out, the community will have more than 500 detached and attached homes, as well as commercial, office, retail and entertainment space.
The St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway program raises money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which works to fight childhood cancer and other pediatric diseases. Since 1991, the program has raised more than $650 million for the cause.
The groundbreaking ceremony took place on Jan. 16 and was attended by Providence team members, business partners, local donors, volunteers and sponsors. The Dream Home will be built on Providence’s Caplin plan, an open-concept design with guest and owner’s suites on the first floor and two bedrooms and a loft on the second floor.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for The Providence Group, our trade partners and our community to support the lifesaving work happening at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and make a difference in the lives of children and families faced with cancer and other life-threatening pediatric diseases,” Providence Director of Marketing Dusty Talbert said in a press release.
Providence and more than 30 partners built Atlanta’s first Dream Home in 2023 and did so again in 2024, raising more than $3 million for St. Jude.
Tickets for the 2025 Atlanta St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway will be available in April; the home will be raffled off in July.
