Fall is officially here, bringing with it all things cozy. The season provides a perfect opportunity to enjoy comforting foods and drinks, like apple cider and donuts, and spend time enjoying the beauty of nature. A new study named Atlanta one of the top 15 coziest cities in the nation. Qualities like access to fun fall activities helped boost Atlanta to the top.
Using data from sources including the U.S. Census Bureau and TripAdvisor, PrivacyJournal ranked American metros based on coziness indicators like accessibility of walking trails, number of coffee shops and bookstores and availability of cozy activities like painting workshops or cooking classes.
Atlanta placed No. 4 in the nation for access to creative and cozy activities. Plus, local searches for candles, blankets and fall home decor were some of the highest in the nation. The city ranked 12th place overall.
“What stands out most to me is how even in the most buzzing metropolitan areas, there are plenty of opportunities for a quiet, cozy escape, whether that be enjoying a picturesque view while sipping from a thermos or getting lost in a book in a homely coffee shop,” said Mauricio Preuss, CEO of PrivacyJournal “This also got me thinking about how important it is to slow down and just enjoy life’s simple pleasures sometimes.”
For homebuyers looking for a cozy city to call home, Atlanta might be the perfect fit.
