REMAX Around Atlanta added to its ranks recently with the addition of former Atlanta Braves catcher Braeden Schlehuber and veteran New Hampshire agent Rania Elsherif.
Originally from Farmington, Utah, Schlehuber moved to Georgia to pursue his baseball career. A former World Series Champion, he was a catcher for the Braves from 2008 until his retirement in 2017. Since then, he’s served as an advance scout for the team.
As a new agent, Schlehuber, who holds a degree in organizational leadership from Colorado State University, looks forward to guiding clients through the homebuying process and making their experience as smooth and rewarding as possible, according to an announcement. He decided to join REMAX Around Atlanta after using the brokerage to buy and sell his own home.
Elsherif was previously affiliated with REMAX Realty One in Stratham, New Hampshire, before moving to Atlanta due to her husband’s career.
When researching brokerages in Georgia, Elsherif was drawn to REMAX Around Atlanta because of its reputation and leadership, particularly the fact that the company is owned by women, according to a separate announcement.
Before entering real estate 10 years ago, Elsherif spent 20 years in marketing and advertising. She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a postgraduate degree in marketing. As an agent, Elsherif earned membership in the REMAX 100% Club and received the Pearl Award for outstanding performance.
