Sunbelt build-to-rent developer NexMetro Communities has opened its first Avilla Homes community in the greater Atlanta market, Avilla Holloway in Stockbridge. 

The 136-home gated neighborhood spans 14 acres and offers single-level, mostly detached residences in one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans with private entrances, front porches and private backyards. 

Phoenix-based NexMetro said Avilla Holloway is the first of several Avilla-branded build-to-rent communities it is bringing to the Atlanta area. The next one to open is Avilla Friendship Trails, a 129-home neighborhood in Hoschton that’s scheduled to open this fall. In late 2024, NexMetro opened the non-Avilla townhome community of South Pine in South Fulton.
