Before settling in Peachtree City, Realtor Susan Fitzgerald moved 14 times over the course of 20 years, making her a relocation expert who can truly say, “been there, done that.”
“My husband was in the military, so moving from place to place was just part of the job,” Fitzgerald says. “I learned how to adapt in a short amount of time and make the most of situations. Once we were able to put down long-term roots, we decided on Peachtree City because it’s a safe, friendly community, and we love the miles of golf cart paths!”
Once those roots were in, the former stay-at-home mom decided to put her experience and knowledge to good use by jumping head first into the real estate industry. She had since dedicated over 20 years to helping a countless number of people adjust to new beginnings and find a place to call home.
“I enjoy interacting with others and becoming friends with my clients,” says the energetic Fitzgerald. “Moving is stressful, so I strive to eliminate that by listening to my clients’ needs carefully, being lighthearted and taking them to the home they love as quickly as possible. We have fun while working hard, and it always pays off when they finally say, ‘I love it!’”
It also pays off in the form of accolades, as Fitzgerald has been the top individual agent in Fayette County from 1999-2013, Agent of the Year for Berkshire Hathaway Home Services for 2011-2013, received Chairman’s Circle Diamond Award in 2013, and is also included in the Top 0.5 percent of Agent Worldwide.
“The highlight of my career is helping others day-in, day-out, and being surrounded by the professional agents at BHHS Georgia Properties,” Fitzgerald says. “I am part of a wonderful team and consider myself incredibly lucky.”
