The dynamism of the highly touted Frye Team, headed by real estate virtuosos Teri and Pete Frye, spans more than two decades and brings with it a litany of accolades and designations, including 15 years as Keller Williams Realty Atlanta Perimeter’s No. 1 team, a lifetime Million Dollar Club membership and a place among this year’s top 100 most influential Realtors. The duo is unquestionably one of Atlanta’s premier real estate teams.
If you ask either Teri or Pete what’s allowed them such a successful and lengthy career – a career that has weathered more than one real estate downturn – the answer will come swiftly and assuredly: “Real estate is not a career, not a way to make money – it is our passion, and it’s our personal commitment to each and every one of our clients, regardless of price point, that they will have our best.” It’s the philosophy of not only Teri and Pete, but the entire team, which includes Kim Scruggs, Anna Armstrong, Stacy Kilgore and Fran Hughes – each of whom, as Teri says, is instrumental to their overall success.
Their approach blends compassion with passion and education with commitment. Teri and Pete look at real estate as an opportunity to instill an understanding in clients that they may not get anywhere else. They want themselves and their team to be guides and resources for clients, forever emphasizing the importance of education. “That is our approach,” Pete says. “We are your resource; we are on the streets, following the trends, learning the nuances of each area, each price point, each neighborhood.” Teri adds that no one on their team “underestimates nor takes for granted the importance of our job as Realtors.”
And it’s because Teri and Pete take their positions so seriously that they apply the same importance they give to client education to themselves. The two have been certified as luxury marketing specialists, distressed property experts and residential specialists, among others. But what truly sets them apart is the way they complement their skills with a more invaluable attribute, which is that of genuine care. “We cherish the relationships we build with our clients,” Teri says. “We care about our clients and to make sure they’re taken care of. We would literally invite any of them to our homes for Thanksgiving.”
But apart from their business, Teri and Pete are also life partners, married for 31 years and parents to two children. And their bond as spouses and parents has only been strengthened by their shared love of giving back, which they exercise not only through their real estate team but also in their volunteer work. Teri supports the community through the nonprofit group HomeAid Atlanta, which builds and renovates housing facilities for organizations that serve local homeless families and individuals. It falls in line with what you’ll often hear Teri saying about life: “It’s not about what you take, it’s about what you give back.”
