After a successful career brokering brand technology deals for Coca-Cola and Newell Rubbermaid, Atlanta native Nat Milburn decided in 2020 that it was time to pursue his passion for real estate as a full-time agent.
Over the past 20 years, Milburn developed an interest in real estate as a personal investor, purchasing homes that needed major renovations and then selling them at a significant profit. “Before I became an agent, friends knew of my experience and would often ask me to give them my opinion on a home they wanted to purchase or what it would cost to get it renovated,” he shares. “These same friends encouraged me to get my license for years before I made the business my full-time focus.”
Milburn says he’s a naturally curious individual, so as a resident and investor, he’s made it a point to investigate each of the unique neighborhoods in Atlanta and learn what makes each of them so special. His clients appreciate his patience and attention to detail, as well as his air of calm confidence.
In the past year, Milburn was named one of the top 15% individual producers by the Atlanta Realtors Association for his first full calendar year in the business. When asked what sets him apart from other Atlanta agents, Milburn’s answer is simple: “There are many excellent agents in Atlanta. But what I’ve heard from clients is that they’ve never felt better taken care of or had someone work as hard for them as I have,” he says. “Regardless of the price point or the circumstances, the drive to protect and serve a client comes from compassion for their needs and concerns. Professional skills are critical, but compassion is what turns empathy into the determination to win for your client.”
