Another year is upon us, and if you are like me, you have set goals and put a plan in place to improve over last year’s results. You see, I start my planning in late October for the next year, making small adjustments until the final weeks of December, ensuring my plan is actionable by January 1st.
This year I must admit was a little more challenging for me because I am about to embark on something new and different, all in the spirit of growing our company.
I have recently been given the privilege of representing EXIT as the President of the North Central U.S. Division, a title I accept and look so forward to fulfilling. Everybody has a job to do and each is a little different; my job may have many “to do” bullets attached to it, but it all boils down to one goal and that is growth. Growth is vital to the success of any company or individual, and frankly, if you aren’t growing, you’re dying.
I have purchased a motor coach and will be traveling across the North Central Division of the U.S. visiting new markets and existing EXIT offices, performing speaking engagements telling our story to prospects and re-energizing our EXIT associates affirming our purpose as a leading Real Estate Company. The Leaders Edge Tour will be coming to a town near you soon!
Alternatively known as “60 Minutes with EXIT”, our events will be dubbed “Leaders Edge” and will be presented in various markets around our division to help us all grow. You see, EXIT has a very compelling story, and it’s our job to tell it effectively and deliberately. Once the rest of our industry understands the value proposition we offer our agents and their families at EXIT, they won’t be able to resist joining a company that really does put their agents first, and provides them the best formula for creating wealth.
EXIT has an aggressive goal of 3,600 offices and 100,000 agents by 2020, and we can only get there if everyone is working toward this same goal. Leadership is crucial in getting the most and the best out everyone involved in the company. We recognize that our agents are our lifeblood, the real assets of our corporation; without our agents, we cannot survive, therefore we put enormous emphasis on their success. Part of the benefit of belonging to a Franchise is the ability to have systems and tools available to succeed; however, they are only useful if they are used.
The world didn’t need another Real Estate Company, it needed a better one. So, EXIT created a company that really does help its agents succeed first, and then gives them a path toward financial security. I am excited to reinforce our mission to our division, and along with our other four divisional Presidents at EXIT and all our associates, we owe it to our industry to share our story in order to provide a better life both professionally and personally for everyone involved.
