New brokerage franchise set to enter Atlanta market

JPAR Franchising, LLC, the franchising division of JP & Associates Realtors, has entered into an agreement to expand its presence into the Atlanta market, according to a press release. The brokerage has a presence in several Texas cities, including Austin and greater Dallas/Fort Worth. The agreement allows for multiple locations in the Atlanta area, and the first is set to open in August.

Townhomes coming to Hapeville

A new development comprised of 20 townhomes along with about 7,000 square feet of commercial space, is being planned in Hapeville, near the Atlanta airport. The development, to be named The Village Walk at Hapeville, will sit just east of I-85, between Central Avenue, Colville Avenue and Willingham Drive. The townhomes are slated to be 2.5 stories and each will have three bedrooms.

Mixed-use development with 350 apartments proposed for Roswell

The Worthington Cos. And Pulte Homes have proposed a mixed-use development the site of a shopping center in Roswell. The site at 2640 Holcomb Bridge Road, which has been home to a Target, will be renamed East Village Heights, according to the proposal. It will be sizeable, with 75,000 square feet of space for services, retail restaurants and offices and it will include 350 apartments, spread across five buildings, as well as 76 townhomes.

Report: co-working giant could be coming to new

WeWork, a co-working behemoth that has helped reshape office districts across the country, is reportedly working on building out a space a 725 Ponce, a new office building along the Eastside Trail, near the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library. The co-working firm has not yet signed a lease at the space, but permits reviewed by the Atlanta Business Chronicle indicate that WeWork intends to do $3.2 million worth of work to ready a space at the complex for use. WeWork is becoming one of Atlanta’s largest office users, with a reported 560,000 square feet of space it occupies or is preparing to occupy throughout Atlanta.
