Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties donated $15,000 to the Newnan-Coweta Board of Realtors Relief Fund after a destructive EF-4 tornado struck Coweta County in late March.

“The damage left behind from this storm is absolutely devastating,” Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties President and CEO Dan Forsman said in a press release. “Our company has always been passionate about helping the communities that we serve. I am proud of how our entire organization came together to help those impacted by the effects of this tornado.”

The tornado was more than one mile wide with wind speeds that reached 170 mph as it passed through the Newnan-Coweta area.

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices set up a GoFundMe page and encouraged all associates to contribute. The donations will provide support to residents and first responders affected by the storm.
