Rookie of the Year: Dallas Brown

by Atlanta Agent

Dallas Brown, a broker with Ansley Real Estate and Development, is relatively new to the real estate business, but if you haven’t heard her name yet, you’re not paying attention. As a rookie, she’s already made a big impression on social media with her market updates and posts about her experiences on the job. “I am so honored and grateful to be named Rookie of the Year. I look forward to the future and learning what is to come,” she said.

It’s all about the details for Brown, but that comes second nature after spending the last 25 years running her own construction cleaning and staffing company, Tidy-Co., in Florida. “My company cleaned over 15 million square feet of luxury homes and condominiums on Miami Beach,” she said.

Having achieved her goals with Tidy-Co, Brown set her sights on her true passion — real estate. She is licensed in both Georgia and Florida and says the southern charm and lifestyle Atlanta offers drew her to the city in 2019. “What’s not to love about this city — everything is at your fingertips!” she said.

Brown’s mentors — Cynthia Lippert, managing broker of Ansley’s office in Alpharetta, and Beth Luther, a broker in the East Cobb office — have been an incredible help in her first few years in the business. “It’s nice to have people you work with appreciate you and want to learn your skills as well as teach you theirs,” she said. “Ansley has such a strong foundation for success, and most of all, I like the I love their team work ethic.”

Runners up:

  • Rod McKenzie, RE/MAX Premier
