Erlanger, Ky.-based homebuilder Fischer Homes is launching its first Atlanta-area active-adult community at Poplar Place in Dallas.

The gated community will offer 135 home sites priced from the $310,000s to the $400,000s.

The low-maintenance homes, which include yard work, are available in six different ranch-style patio home designs. The homes are highly customizable, and prospective homebuyers can view available options at Fischer’s newly renovated design center.

Floorplans range from two to five bedrooms and two to four-and-a-half baths. Open kitchens, large owner’s suites with walk-in closets and private baths, and covered patios (depending on the floorplan) are available to homeowners, Fischer said in a press release.

An amenity center, which will be built in phase two, will include a clubhouse with a kitchen and indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, a fitness center and a flex room that can be used for yoga and other activities. Walking trails, a pickleball court and bocce ball will also be available.

Fischer’s Wilmington Coastal Classic model home is under construction and will open in spring 2022. The on-site sales center is located at 600 Poplar Road in Dallas.

Fischer currently has Atlanta-metro communities under development in Alpharetta, Canton, Cumming, Hoschton, Powder Springs and Sugar Hill. Its other developments are in Missouri, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky.

Poplar Place is near GA-120 and US-278, providing access to downtown Atlanta, and is near Powder Springs and Marietta.
