Traton Homes hosts toy drive for Cobb Christmas

by John Yellig

Clif Poston, principal of Traton Homes, picks up gifts for last year’s toy drive.

Traton Homes is hosting a toy drive for local nonprofit Cobb Christmas through Dec. 10.

The Marietta-based homebuilder is once again hoping to fill a bus with toys for children in Cobb County, according to a press release.

For nearly 20 years, Traton has supported Cobb Christmas, which provides toys and food to low-income and working- poor families in Cobb County during the Christmas season.

Since partnering with Cobb Christmas, Traton Homes has collected and donated thousands of toys. Donations come from the company, as well as from employees, vendors and members of the community. Cobb Christmas is a non-profit, non-denominational organization that provides three age-appropriate gifts to each participating child.

New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at Traton’s corporate office at 720 Kennesaw Ave.
