Atlanta-based multifamily company ECI Group will break ground on a 300-unit apartment community in Conyers next month.

The Corwyn at Conyers will be located at the intersection of Courtesy Parkway and Old Covington Highway. The first units are expected to be delivered in July 2023 with completion set for January 2024, ECI said in a press release.

The class-A development will be the first new apartments in Conyers in 20 years and include modern finishes and resort-style amenities, ECI President and Chief Investment Officer James Baugnon said in the release.

The Corwyn at Conyers “will be a welcome addition to the more dated inventory of rental options in this market today,” Baugnon said.

Wells Fargo Bank NA provided construction financing for the project, while joint-venture equity financing was provided by The Griffin Fund.
