by John Yellig

Kolter Homes team members break ground on Cresswind at Spring Haven in Newnan. (L-R) Director of Land Development Dustin Baker, Regional Vice President Tony Adams, Vice President of Land Acquisitions Larry Long, Area Sales Manager Joe Hawkins and Community Director Andrew Hitch.

Kolter Homes broke ground on Cresswind at Spring Haven in Newnan, its fourth active-adult master-planned community in the Atlanta area.

The community will have approximately 700 homes at full build-out and feature a new portfolio of floorplans. The builder will open a model park showcasing the new floorplans in the fourth quarter of 2023.

“We are excited to break ground on the fourth Atlanta-area Cresswind,” said Andrew Hitch, the community director for Cresswind at Spring Haven. “Atlanta is where the Cresswind brand debuted over a decade ago at Lake Lanier, and with each new introduction, we focus on further elevating the lifestyle and new-home experience based on the feedback received from local residents.”

Social activities will take place at Club Cresswind, a resident-only clubhouse and lifestyle facility that will include a lounge area, event spaces, a social and game room, a Cresswind SmartFIT training center with EGYM, a cardio studio and an arts and crafts room. A full-time lifestyle director will oversee clubs and activities.

Outdoor amenities will include pickleball and tennis courts, a pool with sundeck and sun shelves and places to socialize.
