Fischer Homes hires land development manager for Atlanta

by John Yellig

Fischer Homes hired South Dakota land developer Kyle Treloar as land development manager of its Atlanta division.

Treloar has experience in project development and financing, construction management, engineering, design and land acquisition. He most recently served as president of Vanocker Development in South Dakota.

“Kyle will be an asset in Atlanta to deliver quality homesites on time and assist in finding additional quality developments,” said Doug Cohen, Fischer Atlanta division market president. “His experience running companies in the past make him a self-starter ready to hit the ground running.”

In his new capacity, Treloar will oversee land development projects, including acquiring property and managing horizontal development. He will also work with local governments to ensure that developments comply with zoning ordinances and regulations.

A South Dakota native, Treloar recently relocated to Atlanta. He holds a bachelor’s degree in geological engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and is LEED accredited.
