Jim Chapman Construction Group recently broke ground on its latest build-to-rent general contracting project, Noble Vines, in Port Wentworth.

The community is set on 33 acres and will feature 162 ranch townhome-style units. Community amenities include a clubhouse, swimming pool, fitness center, onsite leasing and management, 24-hour emergency maintenance and sidewalks.

The units offer LVT flooring, granite countertops, stainless-steel appliances, washers and dryers and one- or two-car garages.

The client for the Atlanta-based firm is an undisclosed national developer. In a press release, President Jim Chapman said his company is negotiating future deals with the developer.

Noble Vines is Jim Chapman Construction’s second project in Fort Oglethorpe. The company announced last October that it had started horizontal development of The Cottages at Battlefield Crossing, a 244-townhome community.
