David Weekley Homes is set to open sales at its new Cherokee County community, Havencroft, on April 27.

Prospective buyers need to sign up to the homebuilder’s VIP list to become eligible for early purchase. Sales will open to the public in May.

The community’s 69 homes will be available in seven, two-story floorplans with prices starting in the mid-$700,000s.

The community will have an open pavilion with stacked stone columns, rough-hewn timber accents and picnic seating. A landscaped area and firepit with seating overlooking green space and a pond are slated for behind the pavilion.

“Havencroft marks the third Cherokee County community in our lineup, and that’s with good reason,” Adam Cornett, David Weekley Homes Atlanta division president, said in a press release. “Ranking in the top 10 counties to live in Georgia, it’s no wonder why Cherokee County is such an in-demand area for homebuyers. Known as the place ‘where metro meets the mountains,’ Cherokee offers a collection of picturesque settings, charming downtown areas, and the open waters of Lake Allatoona.”

Lawn care is covered by residents’ HOA dues. The community is zoned to Little River Elementary, Mill Creek Middle and River Ridge High schools.
