David Weekley Homes promoted Jamie Cohen from the lead sales manager at its 55-plus community, The Retreat at Sterling on the Lake, to its new Decatur community of Celesta. 

Cohen has been a sales consultant with David Weekley Homes for almost seven years. He was promoted to senior sales consultant in July 2025. Before joining David Weekley, Cohen worked at John Wieland Homes & Neighborhoods, PulteGroup, Traton Homes, Coldwell Banker and Ansley Atlanta Real Estate.  

Cohen has received a 2024 Gold Obie for sales team of the year as lead sales consultant at The Retreat at Sterling on the Lake; under his watch, in 2023, The Retreat came in second in the United States for the most business closed among all the communities actively selling in David Weekley Homes’ 19 markets, and in 2022, he was named David Weekley Homes’ Sales Person of the Year.
